Overall Moodboard

This my overall mood board of what I have gathered from the Tom Ford Spring/Summer Makeup Collection. I've included the campaign image used for the collection to show what I am taking inspiration from and the focus of the project. I've decided to include images from the catwalk show of the Tom Ford Spring/Summer 2015 Collection because it is relatable to the makeup collection as there is an all together feel of this grungy/rock chic character that Tom Ford has made in both collections. I've included the two black and white images of the girls because they have the type of hair styles I am aiming to have in my 5 looks and have that rock chic look to them especially the girl on the left. I think the girl on the left is more grunge and relates to the type of hair I want to create. I've added crushed eyeshadows onto the mood board to show the colours of the collections. I will be using each one in some of my shoots.

Night Look Face Chart Draft

This is the final chart of my Night Look. For the eyes I have applied a blue shade of eyeshadow from my Revolution Dia De Los Muertos palette. I have also applied a black eyeliner and black lashes but these are actually meant to be teal green. The skin is going to be contoured with Illamasqua Disobey bronzer on the cheeks. For the lips I have applied NYX Tea Rose lipstick to make lips more pinky but still a natural colour and not too bold.

Spring/Summer Look Face Chart

This is a draft of my Spring/Summer Look. For the eyes I have applied a green shade from my Ultra Mattes Sleek Palette and a metallic green shade from my MUA Metallics palette. I've also applied black eyeliner and the eyelashes are meant to be purple but I've drawn them black. For the lips I have applied Maybelline's Honey Beige shade and the face is going to be contoured with Illamasqua's Disobey bronzer going along the cheeks.

High Summer/Beach Look Makeup Chart

This is my final chart of the High Summer/Beach Look. For the eyes I have applied a golden eyeshadow from that blends outwards (the scanner made it look brown but it is actually gold). I chose gold for the eyes to relate to the summer trends of tanned, golden skin. I've also applied MAC Coffee eyeliner along with mascara on the lashes to keep the eyes looking bold. As it is a beach look the skin is very natural with a slight golden tone. I'll need to use a model that has tanned skin to match the beach look. For the lips I've chosen a nude shade, Coffee Craze from Maybelline.

Nail Laquer Look Face Chart

For the nail laquer look I have created quite a glamorous design for the shoot. For the eyes I have applied two brown shades from my Sleek Au Natural Palette so that the dark shade fades out into a lighter shade. I've also applie MAC Coffee eyeliner shade on the eye to make the eyes look more bold along with mascara and individual eyelashes. For the lips I have chosen Maybelline Coffee Craze which is a light nude colour. For the skin I have applied a contour look, bronzing the cheeks with Illamasqua Disobey.

Day Look Face Chart

This is my final/updated chart of the day look I have created. For the eyes I have changed the eye shadow and made it more pink than peach with a metallic edge. For the lips I have chosen a nude lip shade by Maybelline that is one of the most natural to match the day look. For the skin I have created a contour look to keep in with the natural skin trend of Tom Ford. I really like how I have designed this chart as it is meant to be one of the most natural looks but with the metallic colour on the eyes, it also adds and completes the Tom Ford rock chic trend to it.

 'Crushed Indigo' Eye Colour Duo
 'Black Jade' Nail Laquer
'Indigo Night' Nail Laquer
 'Black Plum' Extreme Mascara
'Teal Intense' Extreme Mascara

These are the products of the Spring/Summer 2015 Makeup Collection
The collection was inspired by peacock colours such as blue and green. The whole collection consists of different shades of blue, green and purple. The collection has been made mostly for the eye area so that clients can create a rock chick/ grunge look themselves with a twist of coloured mascara and nails to match to complete the Tom Ford Spring Summer trend look.

Spring/Summer Look Moodboard

I originally was added metallic green eye makeup images to my mood board but then I changed it to a lighter green powder shade as the original was too close to the 'Night Look'. I chose green for the eye makeup because it is a relatable colour to Spring. As colour mascara is part of the Tom Ford collection I wanted to apply this to the look. I've chosen a purple mascara by Collection 2000 as another colour of the spring trends. For the lips I have chosen a nude Maybelline shade, Honey Beige so that the look sticks to the Tom Ford trend. For the hair I wanted a loose curled style with lots of volume. I thought this would give a nice feel to the rock chick look.

Hair Chart for Night Look

For the night look I want to create glamorous curls as I think this style would suit this look the best. I think it would bring the whole look together and suit a Tom Ford rock chick look for a night out. I am going to create this style by curling, hair spraying and pinning the hair in sections. Once I have finished the makeup I am going to take the pins out, brush out the curls and finish the style by hair spraying it. Also if the hair is a bit flat at the top I will back comb and brush over the roots slightly.

Hair Chart for Nail Laquer Look

For the Nail Laquer look I want to create some really nice loose curls with volume at the top of the head. The makeup is already has the rock chick Tom Ford feel to it so I thought this type of hair would add more to the Tom Ford glamorous look and the volume creates the rock chick side with it. I will create this look by curling the hair in sections and hair spraying. Once i have finished the makeup i will brush the hair out and spray again. I will also backcomb at the roots and brush over for volume.

Hair Chart for High Summer/Beach Look

For the High Summer look I typically want to create beach waves but this is because I think it would suit the whole rock chick look that would be created for this look. Messy hair in the summer is the perfect combination for a rock chick. I will create this hairstyle by spraying the hair with water lightly and then scrunching it with salt spray.

Hair Chart for Spring/Summer Look

For the Spring/Summer look I have decided I want to create wavey hair with lots of volume at the roots. I've chosen this style because the makeup for this look is the most exaggerate out of the shoots and so I thought creating waves with volume would complete this rock chick look in a glamorous Tom Ford effect. I am going to create this hair style by curling the hair with tongs in sections and hair spray them. Half way up the head I will start to back comb the roots to create the volume I want. Once I have finished the makeup I will brush the curls through and not hairspray them so that the curls will drop and become more wavey.

Draft Face Chart of Day Look

This is a draft of my day look face chart. I created this look for the focus to be on the red lips and then have a pink cheek with peach eye makeup. When I created this face chart I thought it was meant to be inspired by the brand as a whole, not just the Spring/Summer 2015 makeup collection. If I could change it now I would make the eyes more of the focus of the look and take away the red and create a nude lip colour. The pink cheeks would also have to be changed as it is a day look and the trends of the collection is bare skin. I'd contour it in stead. For the eyes I would make them a more deep pink and black lashes.
